The Collage Building is a Pioneer Structure comprising of Front Office Lab, Kithchen Labs - Advance Training Kitchen, Bulk Training Kitchen & Bakery, Training Restaurant & Bar and House Keeping Lab. IIHM is loacated in South West of India, in the Western Part of Maharashtra State at North-West Mumbai.

 
   

Computer Lab

 
   

IIHM is well equipped with computer lab. The Computer Lab is fully furnished with modern teaching aids that help instructors to make demonstrations and presentation more effective.

IIHM has a rich library with the widest collection of books, journals, magazines and periodicals pertaining to Hotel Management all under one roof. It is the centre of attraction for students.

 

 

   

Training Restaurant

 
   

Our on premises training restaurant provides a platform for the students to hone their food and beverage skills. They are given inputs on classical wine service along with various styles of food service. The emphasis here is on style, presentation & sophistication in service.

 

 

   

Quantity Training Kitchen

 
   

To provide hands on practical training in quantity cooking emphasizing on the mixing & combining of ingredients in right proportions for large quantities, rectification of errors during cooking to avoid wastage and to introduce the students to Indian Regional Cuisines with special emphasis on authenticity, ethnicity and cultural linkages.

 

 

   

Advanced Training Kitchen

 
   

To emphasize the importance of appearance, garnish, presentation and eye appeal in order to make the food look presentable. Equipped with the ultra modern kitchen gadgets and equipment for Students.

 

 

 

   

Bakery & Confectionery

 
   

To further the skills of baking methods and bake various breads with variety of ingredients and also to understand patisserie techniques in relation to cake making. To have professional approach for making international breads. To have knowledge on raising agents, proving time, baking temperatures and gracing of end products.

 

 

 

   

Housekeeping Lab

 
   

A well equipped housekeeping lab with laundry equipments.Housekeeping is the department that deals essentially with cleanliness and all ancillary service attached to that. To make these housekeeping practical’s as realistic as possible, these rooms are occupied by visiting faculty and other guests of the institute.  A mini launderette gives the students a peek into Hotel laundry operations.

 

 

   

Hostel Facilities

 
   

The college provides separate accommodation facilities for girls and boys. Both the hostels are located within the enclosure of the college being so convenient that one may just fall out of bed and walk into class.

The classrooms are ably aided with comfortable seating and latest teaching audio/visual tools to facilitate smooth transfer of knowledge. The classrooms provide the most conducive atmosphere for the dynamic and focused discussions.

A mock front desk, bell & Travel desk helps students to simulate front office Environment. Front office lab providing students with inputs on the Front of the house operations, there is a state of art fully functional reception area, with a dedicated front desk, lobby desk and guest seating area.
